Hello, I am Anna

I'm a project manager. A parent. An expat living in Berlin, Germany.

A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.

How It Started

Moving to Germany wasn't in our long-range plan. As with many overseas assignments, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.

The initial weeks were demanding— unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more tangled than expected.

The Adjustment Period

There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet over time, routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.

Why I Built CatalogSourceStudio

Most online sources were either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a truthful, everyday family viewpoint.

This site aims to fill that gap by offering practical guidance drawn from real life in Germany.

What This Site Is (And Isn't)

This site IS:

  • Hands-on insights from living in Germany
  • Centered on family routines and everyday life
  • Updated whenever a real change occurs

This site ISN'T:

  • A tourism authority resource
  • Not a sponsored review site
  • Not a generic travel blog

Looking Ahead

Our time in Germany goes on, as does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll continue recording what we discover.

If you have questions about family life in Berlin or anywhere in Germany, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,

Anna
